Held on 18 October 2021, the Ageing Asia 2021 – World Ageing Festival showcased Team Finland (Virtual) Country Pavilion with a curated profile of healthcare and ageing companies.

The event attracted over 140 attendees from over 10 countries (Singapore, Hong Kong SAR, China, The United Kingdom, Malaysia, Finland, Sri Lanka, China, Japan, Australia, Macau SAR). 

The session was co-hosted by Mr Riku Mäkelä, Counsellor, Innovation and Trade Affairs, Embassy of Finland, Singapore and Ms Janice Chia, Founder & Managing Director, Ageing Asia, Singapore. We were given a welcome address by HE Antti Vänskä and a special address by Dr Pävi Sillanaukee, Ambassador for Health & Wellbeing in Finland. Ms Meria Heikela, Director, Business Finland kickstarted the presentation session on Finnish Healthcare and Ageing Showcase - from 9 Finnish companies.

The second half of the event - KIPPIS! Hour kickstarted with participants encouraged to be dressed in Finnish Blue and we played various games and quizzes from Finland. Finnish chocolates and various prizes were also given out to participants.
