About this Speaker
Hui Ming is the deputy CEO of ECON Healthcare Group, Singapore’s leading private eldercare services provider. Caring for seniors since 1987, ECON offers a comprehensive suite of senior care services from residential care homes, home care to community based care services, as well as rehabilitation and traditional Chinese medicine services. The Group operates in Singapore, Malaysia and China. Hui Ming joined ECON Healthcare Group in 2006 and was appointed as the deputy CEO, Singapore in 2021. Responsible for leading and managing the daily operations of the Group’s business in Singapore, she is instrumental as one of the key management leader to cement ECON’s market leadership as the largest private nursing operator in Singapore and Malaysia. Hui Ming also supports in the development and execution of strategic plans for the Group.
Devoting her time for the community and helping the elderly comes as second nature to Hui Ming. As the second generation leader of the family enterprise that stands firmly on the foundations of traditional Asian values, Hui Ming spent most of her youth engaging with seniors and lending a helping hand in the nursing homes. It was through these experiences that ignited her passion in caring for seniors. Not one to be content with conventional approaches towards the care, Hui Ming believes in creating a sustainable model for senior care that continues to be relevant and future-ready for the evolving needs of Singapore and the region.
