About this Speaker
Joanna was an events management specialist for over 10 years prior to joining the Social Service Sector. Her journey began 14 years ago, in 2007, with St Hilda’s Community Services Centre where she was Centre Manager.
In 2016, she joined Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore (CPAS) as Assistant Manager, Advocacy & Marketing. She was Secretariat to the Fundraising Subcommittee. She established centralised database, created programmes and gave talks advocating cerebral palsy and/or persons with disability. She helmed Fundraising, Donor Management, Corporate Engagement, Volunteer Management and Community Outreach. Joanna also chaired the Staff Welfare & Recreation Committee.
Joanna joined Sree Narayana Mission (Singapore) as Head of Senior Care Centre & Home Care in November 2018, overseeing 2 Senior Care Centres, private Home Care Services and conducts Caregivers Training in Dementia Care. She is SNM Senior Care Centre’s Dementia Practitioner.
Joanna is an ACTA certified Trainer and has a degree in Social Work from Singapore University of Social Sciences. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Gerontology.
