About this Speaker
Dr. Marketta Niemelä (F) is a Principal Scientist at VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland Ltd. Her research focuses on acceptability and adoption of emerging technologies such as robots in wellbeing services and care for older adults in particular. Currently she works as the technology coordinator of the Finnish national programme KATI (Technology supporting smart ageing and care at home programme) to advance the wide-scale implementation of technology for sustainable ageing and wellbeing at home.
