About this Speaker
Mdm Low Mui Lang is the Executive Director of The Salvation Army Peacehaven Nursing Home. Peacehaven operates a 430 bedded nursing home with four day care centres ranging from Integrated Home & Day Centre, Senior and Dementia Day Care Centres. Peacehaven in her endeavour to meets the needs of the senior also has a Community Resources, Engagement and Support Teams (CREST) and Community Befriending Programme (CBP).
The latest addition is the Jade Circle facility comprising of JC Arena, Acardemy and Apartments. JC Arena is an intergenerational lifestyle club and health centre that caters to both the young and old, it offers a platform for natural interaction and bonding between people of different ages, as well as activities for healthy living and active ageing. It is also a dementia-friendly facility that provides maintenance and day care services for seniors referred by the Agency for Integrated Care (AIC). JC Acaredemy manages the canvas learning management system and access a wide array of learning content (such as dementia, palliative and mental health care) for ILTC sector and general public.
Always looking to solve problem, she actively participate & trial innovations inclusive of a face recognition for fall detection and monitoring of resident’s movement thereby empowering older person to ambulate and kept active.
